This is a great light that puts out a beam you can easily use to ride in poorly lit areas. Along the canal towpath it provided a bright if quite narrow beam, so it’s probably best suited to long-distance commuters rather than off-roaders.
The LED is bang up to date but the NiMH battery isn’t that high tech and it takes around 10 hours to charge fully – which you’ll need to do regularly because of the limited run time.
The fins at the front are for cooling, and the rubber strap mounting system is straightforward. The Vega 120 is tough too.
