Our review
Fair-to-middling unit that's best for city use

Doing without a rechargeable battery, the Whitelite is a reminder of how fast things have changed. It’s well made, with a screw-on mount and comparatively large polymer lamp body containing three AA batteries powering a 1W LED.

Compared with the competition, it lacks power, struggling to reach 10 metres, which isn’t much use at speed, but it does have a good light spread. Side visibility from the domed lens is great, but the other light modes are strictly for urban use, especially the full power flashing option.
