Our review
Just bright enough for a quick ride, but the visibility to other road users is great

With four rechargeable Ni-Mh batteries inside and a charge socket on the underside, this lamp fits nicely into the powerful commuting light bracket.

It pumps out enough light to ride at a reasonable speed, but it really scores when it comes to visibility - this thing can be seen from beyond 90 degrees, as the whole lens section protrudes and lights up. With even just 1800mA capacity batteries the run time is impressive considering it's bright enough to ride with. The tool-free Variotex mounting is quite happy on odd shaped bars - making it ideal if you have wing-bars or suchlike. The lamp unit itself is easily and quickly unclipped from the mount, and the battery level indication light on the top is a handy little thing, if a little eager at times.
