A 2m long armoured cable with a 30mm diameter for £25 sounds good value; almost too good to be true. Sadly that's exactly how it proved to be.
If a cable is armoured, the links in that armour need to be folded together or deeply overlapped; unfortunately this has neither interlocking nor overlapping.
In test one we simply placed the croppers between the links and snipped, and in under five seconds we'd destroyed the lock. This simply isn't good enough.
