Rapid Racer Products NeoGuard review

DH racers have long used sections of inner tube, zip tied to their fork crowns and braces, to catch the spray that the front wheel throws out in front of the bike and back in your face.

The NeoGuard is a simple Neoprene panel with Velcro fastenings top and bottom to pull it taught. The neat design is available in sizes to suit forks from 76mm (3in) to 203mm (8in), and for £5 extra you can have a logo printed on the front. It’s a simple product – although it costs a fair bit more than using an old inner tube. We found using it with a Crud Catcher maximises protection.
