The Caffeine is the next step in Cannondale’s frame development from the long-running Optimo series, with subtle S-curved seatstays adding a modicum of compliance into the back end.
It’s designed as a cross-country speed machine, although with a complete weight of 11.5kg (25.4lb) it can be made even lighter. The bike is kitted out with Cannondale’s Fatty Ultra 80mm (3.1in) travel fork, FSA V-Drive cranks, Shimano XT/LX gearing and Mavic wheels.
