Mid-price bars and stems don’t get much better

FSA’s Energy range is their ‘affordable’ performance line. They do offer cheaper budget options, but Energy is where you start to see some of the knowhow that makes FSA one of the best bar and stem brands.

The Energy bar has the same super-comfortable dimensions as the excellent K-Force, but in alloy and at a fraction of the price. The classy polished finish flows into a shot-peened texture under the tape, with bold, sharp graphics adding a little class too.

Similarly, the stem mixes both gloss and matt for a touch of class and quality titanium hardware is a bonus. The feel is stiff but not harsh, with good buzz resistance, and the weight is good for the price. In terms of finish quality, there’s little that can touch it whatever the cost.
