Kinetica ProRelease protein shake review

Kinetica’s ProRelease protein shake is designed to be taken two to three times a day and is filled with fast-, medium- and slow-digesting proteins to boost muscle recovery. It also contains amino acids, to help keep your body in an anabolic state (burning energy rather than storing it) and maintain lean muscle mass. 

We can’t say that we noticed any difference over regular recovery drinks in terms of performance, or that body composition improved. However, we can attest that both the chocolate brownie and strawberry sundae flavours were delicious, even without post-session hunger pangs. 

There’s no getting around the fact that ProRelease is pricey, though – taking the prescribed daily dosage is a £3.25-a-day habit, the 1.8kg tub (£64.99) lasting only 20 days. Sample 30g sachets are available for £1.29.
