Fully functional in terms of waterproofing but missing some key features

This fully waterproof, roll-down holdall from Polaris is just the job for sodden car parks and muddy laybys. The welded seam construction keeps ming out while also keeping sopping riding kit out of car boots.

There’s an internal dry bag for smaller bits but it would have been nicer to have a bit more capacity for clean items. The shoulder strap is handy for carting it about and the compression straps keep things neat when travelling. The tall sides, once open, do make it darker than the dark hole of Calcutta in there though, so it can be hard to find stray bits and pieces.

We’d have liked there to be an external pocket to keep smaller items in when travelling – bypassing all the straps to get back inside can be a mission in airports and the like.

The Aquanought is easy to clean out too once inside out, adding to its practicality.
