Rapha Winter hat review

Made from Sportwool, a stretchy and lightweight polyester/ wool/ elastane mix, Rapha’s hat doesn’t totally stop the wind, but it does provide a good level of insulation that’s suitable for most UK winter conditions.

A mesh lining transports sweat outwards and keeps things comfortable, and you can fold the ribbed ear guard up to let the air flow when the sun comes out. Like a cotton race cap, it can be worn on its own or underneath a helmet perfectly comfortably, while Rapha’s typically understated branding gives a really classy feel.
