Our review
Thin and don't slip down, but a bit warm for long rides

The Rhythm knee/shin pads from SixSixOne are aimed at the trail bike market, but we think they’re more suited to dirt jumping because they’re thin enough to be worn under jeans, provide loads of coverage and don’t slip.

They're a bit too warm for extended pedalling, but we happily rode pump tracks and dirt jumps in them all day. The Lycra sleeve is well shaped and comes up the leg to the bottom of the thigh.

The silicone strips inside at the top and bottom help keep them in place. Despite looking a bit bulky, the padding moulded around our legs well, and the pads are capable of handling the occasional spill.
