Our review
A good waterproof glove for all-round UK winter riding

The Altura Progels are shorter and have slightly less insulation than some other more expensive brands of waterproof gloves. This means they're warm but not overly so – ideal for milder UK-style winters.

They feel a bit baggy, with what we feel is excess outer glove hanging round the waterproof liner. This makes controls slightly less than positive at times. We're pleased to see a substantial nose wipe on the heel of the thumb though – perfect fleecy material and positioning.
