Airy matching gloves for the full colour co-ordinated package – as long as you have hardy palms

The Capo Atlas summer glove boasts a simple pull-on style for an unrestrictive feel around the wrist plus an airy mesh-and-Lycra construction for true flow-through ventilation.

A generous application of tacky silicone throughout the palm area means you can hold on tight without slipping when you want to, even on unwrapped carbon bars.

There's an amply sized wipe on the thumb, too, and the styling is naturally a perfect match for the rest of Capo's Atlas kit. Heaven forbid you don't match…

A pair of handy finger loops greatly ease pulling the gloves off after the ride, though the tight fit around the wrist makes them a bit tough to get on in the first place – exercise a bit of caution to avoid blowing out a seam.

Padding is virtually non-existent – a good thing for riders who value road feedback above all else but those looking for a cushier feel will want to look elsewhere.

The Capo Atlas gloves are a nice way to top off the rest of your Atlas kit if you desire that fully finished look, if rather pricey at US$45.

The silicone-enhanced palm offers a firm grip even on untaped carbon bars, mesh panels provide cooling air flow and handy finger loops make it easier to pull the gloves off.: the silicone-enhanced palm offers a firm grip even on untaped carbon bars, mesh panels provide cooling air flow and handy finger loops make it easier to pull the gloves off. - Marty Caivano
