The plastic knuckle protection on Dainese’s Berm gloves may help with tackling knocks and scrapes, but it certainly doesn’t help comfort. The flat moulding meant that when gripping the bar – especially with thin grips – the plastic protection squeezed against our knuckles uncomfortably, making the gloves feel restrictive.
They heated up quickly too, so they’re not ideal for summer. The thin palm is nice but does bunch a little and requires readjusting to minimise discomfort. The length of the cuff, although relatively comfortable, will interfere with watches and again, it causes the gloves to get overly warm.
