Good for summer rides on smooth trails but like hand rasps in the rough stuff

The cross-country enduro gloves have great fit and features except for one thing: gel pads under the fingers spoil their overall comfort.

The Reflex is Fox’s cross-country enduro glove. A light mesh backing gives plenty of ventilation and the large terry wipe is great for sweaty summer eyes. The fit is great, as we have come to expect from Fox, with an easy-on cuffless design.

The ‘Gel’ part of the name refers to the soft gel pad in the palm of the glove, which is great and cushions nicely.

There are three more of these gel pads at the base of the index, middle and ring fingers. And this is where the problem lies.Unfortunately they’re like built-in calluses and are pretty uncomfortable when riding the rough stuff.
