Our review
Not the warmest glove, but great for grip and bike handling in the wet

Not instantly the warmest feeling glove, but the pad-free palm with its all over Sombrio logo graphic printed in silicon gives a great feel on the bike and makes loss of grip in a downpour so much less likely.

The construction is also really well thought out, with reinforcing patches where you need them most for durability, and flexible padding over the knuckles for added protection without any loss of movement. We liked the simple pull-on cuff too, it’s not overly long but is just the right length to avoid exposed wrists. Most of the back of the hand is made from neoprene, which is stretchy and comfy to wear but, as we mentioned previously, it doesn’t have that instant warm factor.

However, it’s made from the same stuff as wetsuits, so if your hands do end up getting soaked, at least they’ll be warm and wet. For anyone that favours optimum control over all else, we’d recommend this glove as one to try.
