A great pub-friendly riding jacket

The Hoodlum Team Hoodie is another example of the current movement towards cycling clothing that looks just as at home down the pub.

The cut is more casual than cycling-specific, but it still works great on the bike. The rain does eventually get in, because the seams aren’t taped and the zips aren’t sealed.

It’s constructed from a windproof and waterproof polyester/spandex mix with a material surface treatment to increase its water shedding properties.

The jacket is perhaps a little on the short side, so try before you buy. It’s definitely a winter garment though, because the material is very effective when it comes to keeping you warm.

The details include elasticated cuffs with a velcro adjuster, waist tensioner and two front pockets, one of which has the obligatory headphone port inside, with an additional gripper for the lead near the top of the front zip. Nice touch.
