Altura Crosslite Jacket review
Squarely aimed at the 'keep it light and simple' school of thought, the Crosslite takes on the lightweight packable jackets - like the Alp-X from Gore and Pace's 3x3 - but does it at a fraction of the price.

The Altek Reactive fabric feels like it should boil you in the bag, but is in fact incredibly breathable and was a genuine surprise.
The simple construction keeps the weight down and the performance fit has a touch more room underneath compared to the sculpted Gore jacket. It hasn’t got the same attention to detail as the more pricey jackets and isn’t as hard-wearing, but it does deliver very impressive performance for the pound.
If you’re after a sporty, lightweight, breathable, windproof and waterproof jacket that you want to carry light and whip on at a moment’s notice, then the Crosslite makes an excellent choice, especially if you’re on a budget. Features include a welded chest pocket, water-resistant zips, elastic draw waist and neck, rear map pocket and carry bag.
