We liked the fabric of this jacket, which felt supple and was comfortable to wear. Better shape in the body would have bumped the marks up, but if you need a good all-rounder, head this way.
The shaping around the shoulders made for a good fit, and although the rear hem isn’t obviously dropped, when we pulled the drawcord in, the back fitted perfectly and stayed securely in place.
The pockets are simple, with one zipped at the back and one on the chest, with an MP3 port. The fleece on the zip guard and reflective trim make a difference too.
The Hydronno doesn’t have a lot of hanger appeal but its quiet design makes it versatile enough to wear off the bike, with the well thought-through features ensuring it works well when you’re riding.
