Foska’s first jacket is a solid performer at a good price, if a touch weighty

Foska makes its first foray into the jacket world with the Dry Five, featuring breathable Hydrovent material and fully taped seams to seal out the elements.

Its inner mesh lining makes it a weighty offering, but does improve airflow to stop clamminess. It can get warm at times, so the huge pits zips are useful to counter this.

All the zips are sealed and a neck protector stops any irritation from the high collar. It would be nice to see a fleece lining here though.

Storage wise, there’s a large rear pocket, which can be accessed from zipped access points on either side.

Reflective strips on the arms and rear are useful for visibility at night, and the striking yellow colour will definitely make you stand out.

Given its bulk, you probably wouldn’t use the jacket as a packable ‘just-in-case’ item. We wouldn’t wear it in warmer conditions either – we got hot very quickly, especially when wearing a rucksack.

Product "33588" does not exist or you do not have permission to access it.
