This is a superb soft shell that’s spot on for winter commuting. Though thick and tough, the M:Tec 5000 fabric is stretchy so it never feels restrictive, and with fully taped seams and water resistant zips it does a great job of keeping the rain out.
A full length zip, pit zips and adjustable collar, cuffs and hem mean there’s plenty of scope for managing the temperature and you can remove the hood if you like.
The cut is fairly slim, but not so cycle-specific that it looks out of place when you’re not on the bike, making it a highly versatile option. It's available in black and red, and in both women’s and men’s cuts.
