Lightweight all-rounder but overpriced for its performance

This top ticks all the feature boxes for all round use, but the fabric offers only similar levels of performance and protection to cheaper offerings. The mesh-lined chest vents/pockets have their work cut out to stop you steaming up when riding hard, and the jacket wets out in heavy rain. The drawstring fleece neck and hem help sealing, while generous zips are easy to haul open for cooling.

The panel cut fit is good on the bike, without looking weird for town, and the reflective trim isn't too glaring. There are two back pockets (although one is a short cut to your jersey pockets). Durability is good and it packs down light (322g) and small.
