Good value cosy coat for less sweaty or generally cooler riders

Moore Large's new Outer Edge Nortex Antiwind jacket gives solid if slightly sweaty performance for those on a tight budget.

Like on the Polaris, the Antiwind fabric across front, shoulders and arms is slightly scratchier and noisier than the smarter fabrics here, but it still shrugs off wind and rain. The fluffy fleece lining is cosy and stays comfy (if slightly cold) even with surface wetness. The thinner back and side panels allow stretch into the fit and the full length zips helps to manage your overall temperature, although it definitely runs hotter than the otherwise similar Polaris top.

The classic three rear-pocket arrangement includes a zipped key/cash stash and there's some reflective detailing too. A lighter weight 'Antiwind jersey' (£37.99) is also available.
