Rapha’s new Classic Wind Jacket costs at least £50 more than many other lightweight jackets, and whether it’s special enough to warrant the premium pricing is for you and your wallet to decide, but this windproof has a superb fit and the cuffs are comfortable enough to match the best.
The collar is neither the highest nor the most comfortable, but it’s good nonetheless. The jacket suits the better spring days, but as long as you’re doing more than just pootling along it’ll keep you warm enough at temperatures as low as 5°C.
You can also squeeze it into a jersey pocket, though it’s not the smallest.
