Our review
Great looks, feel and loads of lovely features, but a little sweaty

The Sugoi Majik offers plenty of quality features and waterproofing qualities, while perhaps compromising slightly on breathability.

The soft-feeling Majik combines a soft, stretchy polyester outer face laminated to a polyurethane inner that feels unrestrictive and great to wear, while offering good waterproof qualities.

The breathability isn’t as good as some on test and left us sweaty and clammy after climbs. There is a rear vent, which helps a little, but to get the best airflow you’ll need to use the sealed waterproof front zip.

In terms of build quality and cut, the Sugoi is spot-on, with a tidy finish, taped seams and neat functions, such as a chin guard, fleece neck, chest pocket and high visibility flashes.

It’s not the smallest jacket around, but will still squeeze into a pocket or easily into a pack.
