Our review

Immaculate lines and great fabric performance make this a winter must-see

Before you even put it on, the RS Zero has a high-quality appearance. The fabric is a combination of Sugoi’s signature Firewall, which is water resistant and windproof, and MidZero, which is stretchy and cosy. We found it versatile across a range of conditions.

It does seem to disperse heat extremely well and one reason could be that the Firewall part doesn’t feel totally wind-blocking – more that it keeps just enough off. The MidZero sections are brushed on the inside, which makes it especially comfortable if you go for minimal layers underneath.

Fit is impeccable and very long through the back – the sleeves are especially good with a multi-panel design that articulates perfectly on the bike and there’s something very satisfying about a beautifully aligned cuff. There are all the details we look for – a zipped pocket for keys and cash, fleece lined collar and zip flap, zip garage and reflective detail. This is well featured, versatile across different weather and feels more expensive than it is.
