The Ascents use a lightweight, yet durable fabric, perfect for hot summer days. There are plenty of features too: an adjustable belt, two roomy front pockets and two secure zippered leg pockets and a stretch crotch panel.
The cut is good - they're neither too baggy nor constricting - with an elasticated back that keeps them comfy on the saddle. It's a shame the inners are a bit tight, even so, these shorts are great value for money.
