Our review
Not the best dedicated riding shorts out there but they're comfortable, and as a casual option they work fine

These shorts are made from stretchy softshell fabric, with a Nanosphere coating that resists staining and helps keep the rain off. Sitting at knee length, their style sits between casual and tech. They feature belt loops, front hand pockets and a rear pocket, a zippered map pocket that doubles as a vent, zippered slots for kneepad room and stretch panels throughout.

They’re comfortable, but we found they worked best with a belt, which did hamper our riding performance slightly. The main front and rear pockets don’t have zips either, so you can’t really stash things in them when riding. Although we liked the rain-resistant finish, we stained our shorts with orange mud fairly early on. Other grime could be wiped off though. They’re not the best dedicated riding shorts out there, but are comfortable, and as a casual option they work fine.
