Oakley Remix shorts review

The long, baggy Remix shorts are favoured by many Oakley freeriders, including Wade Simmons and Chris Smith. The simple pop-button waistband means there isn't any scope for waist adjustment and there aren't any belt loops either.

Stylish, performance casual shorts, at a price

The long, baggy Remix shorts are favoured by many Oakley freeriders, including Wade Simmons and Chris Smith. The simple pop-button waistband means there isn't any scope for waist adjustment and there aren't any belt loops either. That said, the large size I tried fitted fairly snugly and comfortably on my cake ass/34in waist combo, although people between sizes may have trouble with the fit, so try them on before you buy.

The quality is second to none. The shorts are made from soft material with a wicking liner to keep you comfy whatever the weather. There are also plenty of ventilated panels, and two large zippered vents on the front of the legs allow plenty of air in. These are fantastic shorts if they fit you, although the high price will be off-putting to some people.
