Sombrio Estelle Freeride shorts review

Fresh from Canada's North Shore, Sombrio clothing is the label by freerider Dave Watson. He wanted to produce stylis bike clothing that's technical enough to cope with the crap, and Amen to that!

There's not all that many pieces in the range, but we're loving these Estelle shorts for summer.

Fresh from Canada's North Shore, Sombrio clothing is the label by freerider Dave Watson. He wanted to produce stylish bike clothing that's technical enough to cope with the crap, and Amen to that! Luckily Dave likes the ladies, so he's made sure the girly gear is as hot as can be too. There's not all that many pieces in the range, but we're loving these Estelle shorts for summer. The fit is loose and long, big enough to fit over a chamois short, but pretty enough for just hanging out in if you ask us.

The soft nylon material is very lightweight and there's a contrasting stripy wicking-mesh liner on the inside with vents at the front which look great zipped open and give you more room if you're wearing knee pads. The fit is great too - all too often shorts are designed by men who never get the waistband height or crotch length quite right for girls, but the Estelles fit like your favourite jeans. Check out the matching Cloud 9 jersey and tankini tops too - yum.
