Padded underwear can come in handy if you ever need to ride any distance in civvies – maybe when commuting or going shopping.
These shorts come with the additional benefit of a wind-stopping front panel, so they’re also useful for wearing under your Lycra for that extra bit of protection from the cold. The inner fabric is a soft ‘n’ stretchy polyester that shifts sweat well and dries quickly, flat-stitched throughout to avoid any rubbing as you pedal. The seat pad’s a bit bulky in use but it certainly provides plenty of comfort.
