Our review
Comfortable fit and flattering looks

Alé's PRR 2.0 Women’s Bib Shorts use lightweight materials and a classic strap design. They're exceptionally comfortable with a tight but flattering fit.

While the brand Alé may be a relative new comer to the cycling gear market, the parent company APG has a wealth of experience constructing products for other major cycling brands. The PRR 2.0 bib shorts sit at the top of the range, with a panelled construction and race-ready fit.

Alé’s slightly compressive leg hems made for the smoothest, most flattering look in our best women's bib shorts group test without squeezing and distorting our thighs into awkward shapes. These have one of the snuggest fits of the bib shorts out of the 20 pairs of women's bib shorts we tested, but the compressive fabric is very comfortable once on.

The bib straps have a racer-back cut, sitting comfortably between the shoulder blades. At the front, the classic two-strap design sits to the side of the chest, which may be more comfortable for women with a larger bust size. The lightweight PRR 2.0 straps are superbly comfortable with a secure fit that kept the shorts in place over bumpy roads and rough terrain.

The PRR 2.0 chamois is constructed with minimal seams, leaving little room for uncomfortable rubbing or pinching down there. While the Alé PRR 2.0 Bib Shorts don’t offer any creative bathroom break features, they're one of our top choices because of the comfortable fit and flattering looks.
