Good value and practical but the front seam isn’t loved by all

The Progel 3/4s are a good value option for all-year-round use under baggy shorts. The cut is longer than average, over half way down the shin, and the lightweight gel pad is less bulky than most while still doing an excellent job of taking the edge off vibration.

You’ll either love or hate the raised seam down the front of the legs. The material is quick-drying stretchy Lycra with a mesh upper back and straps. The fit is very snug and there are reflective logos on the sides of the legs and reflective piping on the back. For another £10 you could get the more tailored, tougher and warmer Ergofits.
