DHB has produced a decent pair of mid-range shorts that do the job well

Wiggle house brand DHB's Fluoro bibs feature quite a narrow, thin pad – but it's well-positioned for riding on the hoods or in the drops. Long legs are finished with broad grippers that do a good job with the help of silicone patches on the inside, although the skinny of leg might find them a little large.

  • Highs: Good fit and well-placed pad
  • Lows: Pad a little on the thin side

There’s a little creasing where the legs meet the grippers, but fit generally is good. The front bib straps are the same fabric as the rest of the shorts, but are mesh at the back. The straps split into left and right high at the back, which keeps them in place on your shoulders.
