The race fit lines are laser cut and the fabric is strong and hardwearing. Although they certainly don't feel like the most breathable on test, the payoff lies in their robust nature. So, what about the comfort aspect? The chamois has just enough padding without being excessive and it stays firmly planted in and out of the saddle. We'd definitely recommend the bibs over the shorts version, though, as they offer that extra bit of shape and styling.
The washing instructions recommend a hand wash but we've machine-washed them on low with no problem.
