Good price for a wellthought- out mid to top-end short

A perfect match for their jerseys, Nike's Race Bib is another solid performer.

Starting from the top, the open mesh of the airy bib is flat-stitched to eight panels of stretchy DriFit fabric. A three-inch section at the base of the leg is made from lighter mesh to sit gently against the legs and is held in place at the base with silicon leg elastics.

It all feels good and eliminates the ligature effect of over-tight Lycra. There's also a good length in the leg and if you're not into that hot pant look or are quite lanky, then these shorts provide adequate coverage. The chamois is a quality four-way stretch affair that's bonded into shape to eliminate stitching. The fit is also generous and the sizes fall in line with regular clothing.
