Normally, it takes a ride or two to bed shorts in, adjusting the seams and pad at the outset to get them feeling just so. But try as we might to get along with them, we had serious fit issues with Northwave’s 50/12 bib shorts.
Bib shorts should feel like a second skin of Lycra, but the 50/12s rucked and wrinkled all the time. Added to this, the crotch area was baggy, and the whole garment – despite being the correct size – felt uncomforable to wear, let alone ride in. We’d suggest looking elsewhere.
