Northwave show you can combine quality optics and a truly tiny price

The Predators are nicely styled for use both on and off the bike. Their small frames are better suited to smaller faces and they’re a good fit for women too. They’re relatively very cheap, and while the lens is essentially clear – it does have a slight tint – it is rated to UV400.

When riding, the prominent frame is visible and they do suffer from some fogging when you’re working hard and it isn’t quick to clear either.

And though the fit is snug and the rubber grippers hold them reasonably well, over rougher roads they do bounce a little. A range of tints is available and even a photochromic version.
