Swiss One specialise in safety specs and goggles – and as many canny riders know, these can often make great budget riding glasses.
The Rider is billed as a "fashionable safety spectacle", but as the name suggests, this pair of glasses works on the bike as well as in the workshop.
The very close-fitting design means that, while the frame offers lots of all-round protection, this comes at the expense of some loss of vision, particularly from below.
At the end of the day, these aren't the most comfortable or best looking glasses around, but they are substantially cheaper than cycling-specific models.
Our sample came with clear lenses but five other choices are available – yellow, indoor/outdoor, bronze, silver mirror and smoke. All lenses have anti-fog and anti-scratch coating.
