The Pireneos are made from Italian Tour Lycra, similar to Super Roubaix, and with a full fleeced back section, they’re best suited to colder winter days. Water repellency is low but we didn’t get cold even when the fabric was damp.
The minimal profile pad is very comfortable, and the high bib front leads into nicely shaped braces, while seams on the legs are kept to a minimum. Stirrups mean no draughts, and our XL pair was ideal for our 6ft 2in tester. Full-length reflective piping and logos offer good night-time visibility.
