Our review
Wind- and water-resistant panels provide extra protection, at extra cost

These don't offer deep, plush insulation but they do provide good protection from both wind and rain.

The seat and the exposed sections at the front of the thighs are made from a windproof fabric that also shuts out rain and road spray, and water even beads up and rolls off the non-windproof panels thanks to ‘silicone nanofilaments’ in the fabric.

The windproof panels aren’t as breathable or stretchy as the other areas but the knees are pre-shaped and perfectly comfortable, while the contoured, antibacterial seatpad kept us comfy without adding much bulk.

The ankle zips are reflective for a touch of extra safety and they don’t jangle as you pedal, while the leg bottoms are cut looser than normal to fit outside overshoes, although this meant ours didn’t sit snug when we rode without. Sizing is small – go one higher than normal.
