Pearl Izumi's Elite AmFIB tights are designed for long endurance rides in the worst weather. The thighs, shins and seat are all made from the company's Elite wind and waterproof softshell fabric, and the hip panels and torso are fleeced Lycra.
The multi-density, multi-thickness pad is comfortable, the ankles silicone gripped with long storm-flapped zips, and there’s a good level of reflective detailing throughout. For the price, these offer great protection from the elements. They're a little heavyweight for faster riding but we’ll live with the extra bulk to stay warm and dry.
