The knitted polyester fabric used on these X-Bionic BT 2.0 winter tights gives a soft feel, and different weaves add compression where needed: the legs have supple areas for mobility, with more compressive panels over major muscles.
The full back and abdominal area’s more open structure wicks moisture brilliantly, and the pad is comfortable. Articulated knees offer great freedom of movement, but when your knee is fully bent the knit is at its most stretched and lets the cold in. Water repellence is minimal but the fabric didn’t damp through to the skin.
