No ISCG tabs but the super-accurate, bombproof Stiffee is still a legend

The Cove Stiffee is the hardtail that opened the door to the Canadian freeride scene, and the latest version is still a standout ride.

Monster square-headed Easton RAD top and down tubes team up with the thick-walled head tube and bottom bracket shell to make this one of very few frames that will handle triple crown downhill forks or any length single crown.

The wide spaced rear stays can accommodate big tyres, with extra-large forged triangular dropouts for handling the landings, but there are no ISCG mounts for a chain device, which is a blow to otherwise total downhill suitability.

At less than 2.5kg, it’s light enough for hardcore cross-country work and its power transfer and tracking accuracy are good. Softening the hard ride with big tyres is essential for epics though.
