This is the most costly hardtail we’ve ever had the pleasure – and it has been a pleasure – of throwing a leg over.
It’s the titanium-tubed version of Canadian frame meister Chris DeKerf’s Implant freeride hardtail. There aren’t many 1.7kg (3.75lb) frames that are made to hammer and huck but this one is – it’s beautifully constructed and it provides a wonderfully taut ride.
Whether you’ll want to huck such a pricey investment off anything much higher than a kerb is another matter, but we’re loving it.
