Precise and powerful gravity disc option

Hope’s big, totally adjustable Tech Evo lever and new four-pot calliper put them right back into the ultimate gravity brake reckoning.

The big-bodied lever isn’t the easiest to sync with shifters, but the roller cam mechanism gives smooth control. Twin dials on the drilled blade let you tune the bite point and reach independently for perfect blade placement. The long lever adds mechanical advantage to already very impressive power from the four-pot calliper.

Differential piston sizes squeeze out maximum traction control from the firm lever feedback and there’s a twin skin vented rotor option that Hope say reduces heat by 15 percent on mountain descents. It’s not light and it’s early days to talk reliability – but, that said, it’s been fine so far.
