Good comfort and plenty of stiffness without the top-end price tag

The Ursa has a broad shouldered look with its oversize crown supporting more slender blades, and that distinctive shape may be how ITM blend raceworthy stiffness with palm-saving comfort.

The full-carbon construction with near seamless joins doubtlessly plays a part in the ride and certainly helps the Ursa look like a more expensive component.

Vibration damping is very good, with big bumps particularly well damped and road buzz reduced in severity to make for a very good long ride choice.

For general road riding or less technical sportives, steering stiffness is more than adequate considering the low weight.

There is some flexibility when tackling tight and twisting roads which causes a steady but predictable increase in understeer as cornering forces rise. The version that fits 1.5in lower headset bearings should add some additional stiffness.
