Ritchey Pro Carbon Fork review

These curved blade forks are a lightweight choice, weighing in at lessthan 360g with an uncut steerer tube. While we like the graphics, the painted crown area makes it look like a cheaper carbon/alu fork when fitted to the bike.

Our review
Light, stylish and takes the road buzz out of a long hard ride

These curved blade forks are a lightweight choice, weighing in at less than 360g with an uncut steerer tube and, while we like the graphics, the painted crown area makes it look like a cheaper carbon/alu fork when fitted to the bike.

While they were shown to be less stiff than some rivals, the Pro carbons remained stable with all but the heaviest rider on board, and we felt that they are slightly more shock absorbent on poorly surfaced roads than others. An internal-expanding wedge is included but it's not very convenient to use. Curiously, the version with a non-integrated fork crown costs another £30.
