Our review
Odur is a stiff, tough and impressively controlled fork

Magura’s tough budget fork gets the double arch treatment for serious stiffness, and we’re happy to say that the low-slung double arch certainly manages to lock down steering for outstanding on-trail accuracy that’ll shame anything this side of a bolt-through fork.

Although initially it felt a bit firm, the coil spring proved perfectly balanced for swallowing four-foot pancake landings without drama, while still maintaining small bump traction.

There’s plenty of controlled and consistent rebound adjustment and a solid fork top lockout too, with metal adjusters all round giving it a quality feel.

The IS disc mount is old-school, and canti bosses look awkward if you’re not using them, but stainless steel hardware extends lifespan, and the reliability is excellent. In fact, only the limited 85mm and 100mm travel options restrict the Odur’s obvious All-Mountain potential.
