RockShox Boxxer Team review
Massive tuning potential at a great price

Published:
With its full pro issue Black Box tuning potential, the RockShox Boxxer Team is a great value fettlers’ race fork.
It still has the same rather old 32mm legged architecture, but strength isn’t a problem.
You’ll only notice the more wayward cornering/off-camber characteristics in direct comparison with other forks.
Floodgate threshold damping adds an extra level of tuning.
The internal Black Box shim stack can make a real difference to how settled the fork feels when you’re really hammering it.
Most users we know have resorted to a pro tuner like TFTuned Shox to release the full potential, though.
It’s still relatively light, although real weight freaks will lust after the air sprung World Cup, which is 400g lighter for £410 more.
